The Aviation Career Education (ACE) Academy is a week-long summer camp program held at Lewis University every summer. The ACE Academy is designed to introduce inner city students, age 13 thru 18, to flying and aviation related careers. Academy participants learn about the world of aviation by participating in classroom activities and field trips.

The camp is a collaborative effort between the Federal Aviation Administration & Lewis University The Organization of Black Airline Pilots; the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees; the Chicago “DODO” Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen Inc, Omega Airport Transportation Company and several other area businesses are supporting organizations.
